Theatrical Fun at the Theatre Museum in partnership with The Society of London Theatre
Theatre Museum, Covent Garden, WC2 Tube: Covent Garden.
West End performer Michael Martin will be back at the Theatre Museum this summer to lead another series of workshops during the May half-term and the summer holidays.
Michael will once again be joined by fellow theatrical professionals, to teach young performers the songs and dance routines from some of London’s top West End musicals, past and present.
These fun workshops take place in the Theatre Museum’s professional studio space, where children can really get a feel for the bright lights of performing in musical theatre.
Suitable for 8-12 year olds only.
Participants should wear loose, comfortable clothing.
Places are limited, to book: Telephone 020 7943 4750. Tickets cost £8.

Michael trained at The Arts Educational Schools in London where he studied a three year Musical course. He previously studied at the Glasgow Theatre Academy of Musical Theatre Arts. Theatre credits include: Levi in Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (New London) The Third Annual Celebration Of West End Musical Theatre (Palace Theatre).
Other workshop leaders could include:
Louise trained at Arts Educational, Glasgow Academy of Musical Theatre Arts. Her theatre credits include the lead role in Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, Beauty And The Beast (Mitchell, Glasgow) and Let Me Entertain You (King’s, Glasgow). Louise made her West End debut in Mamma Mia!
Richard Alliston
Richard trained at the London Studio Centre. He made his West End debut in My Fair Lady at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. He then went on to play Brett Monroe in the cast of Jerry Springer The Opera at the Cambridge theatre. Other theatre credits include Harry in Crazy For You, Lysander in A Midsummer Nights Dream, Guys And Dolls and Will Scarlet in Robin Hood.
Scott Monello
Scott trained at the Arts Educational School, London. Upon graduation he appeared in Jerry Springer The Opera at the Cambridge theatre where he understudied and played the role of Tremont. Other theatre credits include Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, A Chorus Line, Just So and Aladdin. Scott is currently appearing in We Will Rock You at the Dominion Theatre.
Amy Pemberton
Amy trained at the Arts Educational School, London. She is currently starring as Ariel in Footloose at the Novello. Amy has appeared in television productions The Basil Brush Show, My Parents Are Aliens and The Commander. Amy has worked extensively as a commercial dancer for various pop acts both on stage and television. She has also played Marty in Grease.
