And actually no-one will EVER look as good as Divine as Edna! i don't know as i never saw him You never saw the original John Waters movie??? With Rickie Lake, Divine, Sonny Bono, Deborah Harry, Michael St. Gerard and Jerry Stiller? One of the best 80s movies, if not the absolute best! I haven't seen the whole remake yet, as it does not open here till end of next month, but what I have seen of it so far (as there are ways to watch stuff online), while the remake looks good for itself, the parts I have seen do not have the charme and the heart of the original. I will certainly see the musical, especially to see the wonderful Leanne as Tracy and the amazing Paul Manuel as Corny Collins, but nothing will ever beat the original.

I meant i never saw Harvey hahaha and i hear he was good ;D ;D ;D (that's me now..lack of sleep kicking in ) ignore me oh yes i agree the original was fab...but the new movie is just good in its own way...it pays it's tribute to the original..and yet marries the broadway show. ...sit through the end credits. ..Ricki sings "momma i'm a big girl now" fab moment as she sings it with Nikki and John plays the flasher ;D

You might have only heard good reviews about him, but I also heard negative things about him and he didn't convince me on TV - I know you cannot compare it, but it is interesting to see that he got the job after the TV show - I know two guys who went to the auditions and vocally and acting wise I found them a lot more convincing in previous shows, but I will see for myself when I go in November what he is like. I would be glad to change my opinion about him.

Anyone want my "two glasses of complimentary champagne?" I received the promo CD in the mail. It's a Wicked promo, but there are also two free glasses of champers? I'm not going to Hairpsray just yet so if anyone wants a free drink let me know.

I've just booked to see the show on Saturday March 22nd and was very happy to get row CC22 in the stalls. Really looking forward to seeing Rachael Wooding for the first time since she left WWRY.
