Iain do you know if Yanle has taken over as Christmas Eve full time or was she on as cover. Just wondering as she has always been a "swing". Have to admit i actually prefered Yanle to Jennifer Tanarez.

Some kids on an Avenue Q forum said Yanle and Jacqui are sharing the role (not sure how) and according to the official website Yanle is listed as Christmas eve and Jacqui as Swing / Alt Christmas Eve - so I assume Jacqui does two, three shows, Yanle the others.

As Michaela says, in the programme too, Yanle is Christmas Eve and Jacqui is the alternate.

As always with new cast members i go with an open mind when i'm seeing them for the first time. Ihave to admit i was not overly impressed with either Christopher Fry as Brian or Rebecca Lock as Kate/Lucy. Mark Goldthorp wasn't on so Chris Thatcher was Trekkie/Nicky & Bad Idea Bear and he was even funnier than the last time i saw him in the roles. Daniel Boys was the pick of the new guys as Princeton & Rod he has stepped nicely into Jons shoes. I'm probably being a little harsh, as to be fair it is only 2 months since they took over so i'll pay another visit at some point & hopefully get to see Mark on stage as well.

No you are not too harsh - two months is quite some time I personally think plus they had like 6 weeks of rehearsals.
To be honest I do not want to see it right now too much - I will eventually see it, most probably in April, and I especially wanna see Chris as Trekkie/Nicky (jealous you have seen him twice now!), but not just yet.

;D ;D ;D Sorry i keep getting everyone you want to see when i go to the shows.(It's costing me a fortune in bribes ). Chris is like Simon,he just has that face that makes you laugh as soon as he starts. Maybe Chris and Mary should get their own show as the Bad Idea Bears.

oh my goodness what a shocker that Avenue Q is closing next year!! i love this show, it's sooooooo hilarious, but due to the credit crunch it's getting it's notice.
theatre is such a great escape, and this sort of thing happens. this is not good
