Friday's show.
i think if there is a word to sum it up..i think i'd choose surreal. The highlights by a mile were seeing Tasha Sheridan in the audience and Rachel Spry. I think that kind of threw me cuz i was watching Hannah and having flashbacks to Tasha on stage around the same time a year ago.
Ok focusing on stage , yeah it was good. Becci was on and she was brilliant. I can't for the life of me recall if i've seen her before (call me Dory!) but she was brilliant.
The three things I loved about Lucy's performance were the new things I noticed:
Trauma patient now appears during Mamma Mia. (the DS chat would have come in handy here huh Kris? ).
And the dialogue between the Dynamos, where Donna has her "It's a laugh and a joke to you two.." reminded me of a young child, and i mean that in a good way.
and then the classic ATTITUDE, when Donna snaps at Sam "that is none of your business either.." she threw her head back all "Ghetto" like, made me laugh. Alas it was the last time.
Yes, I counted the pause, i thought it was 9 seconds, but in real time it was nearer 14.
The cast just never fail to put on a great show.
at the same time it was just kinda of weird, like it was the last time I'd see my fave Donna and Sam on stage, but it doesn't feel like it.
Fabulous stage dooring fun Kris, Chellie, Mark and I had too. I am constantly surprised by how we continue to amuse ourselves whilst we wait.
