This was my first visit to see the new cast and I wasn't sure what to expect.
Unfortunately they had technical problems with the stage in the fact that it wasn't going to move.
Niamh Perry was an excellent Sophie and worked really well with all the cast.
The Bridesmaids were really good as usual.
Sally Anne Triplett as Donna, I felt that she tried hard and gave a good performance but wasn't Lucy or Linzi.
Jayne Gurnett as Tanya was the best of the bunch and still gives a fun packed performance.
Katy Secombe as Rosie. It was going to be very hard for her to match Joanna Munro but she gave it her all and seemed to fit in really well.
Paul Ryan as Harry by far the best of the Dad's.
Christopher Hollis as Bill. Tried his best and was an amiable Bill but still doesn't match Paul Hawkyard.
Norman Bowman as Sam. Much improved although he had similar gestures and looked a lot like Iain Fletcher but for me didn't match Iain's performance at all.
Sam Mckay as Eddie. Tried hard but didn't seem to fit the role at all.
Overall this cast were much improved and I give them a 6/10 but I still remain a fan of the cast of 06/07 and 07/08.

It was definitely Friday 14th August at 5pm as on the Saturday 15th August I was watching Priscilla! (which I can recommend as an excellent show!)
