so i went to watch Mamma Mia again last night. It was meant to be the "closure" viewing. Last time on the big screen. I went with 6 other friends and what a hoot it was. WE were meant to watch it at the Mezannine 6.10 and then we got told that we couldn't sit together, so we sprinted across LS to the Apollo on Regent STreet and made the 6.00 viewing taking up and entire row. I tell ya, watching that movie with a bunch of other fans is a hoot, that place is tiny, and really intimate and there were others in there, by the time we got to I DO and we cheered ( and droooooooooooled verbally. ) even the people behind us got right into it. THen the typical thing happened, when we got out we were like "Screw eating, let's watch it again!" lol...so much for closure.... ;D ;D ;D

urgh, i love Cher and I know she was planning for Vegas instead, but urgh in separate interviews this week BOTH Cher and Meryl talk about Cher as Tanya in Mamma Mia..WHY? WHY bring it up again? urgh! hahahah Kill me now at how casually my heart would have exploded had Cher been in MAMMA MIA! Christine was good, but Cher ...i bet the Pepper would have been better too had Cher been in it hahahaah ok...whatever.. the movie's out on DVD Nov 24..bring it on!

I'm nattttttttt happy, my locals aren't showing it. Not that i watched the movie locally, but that's not te point. It's still on in the west end. I went last weekend. Two more weeks for the DVD. ;D The REGION 1 is formatted so you can download it to your computer or ipod. That's cool, it also has a photo book. There's also the gift set here with journal and i'm sure there's another editon with cd/dvd

so my friends and I red carpeted it at the Bafta's at the weekend and we saw Phyllida Lloyd ha it wa great she asked us how many times we had seen the film and we casually lied to her saying 100, i don't think it's too far from the truth hahaha ok that's just bits and pieces of the film , selective clips
and then we added in she should re release the DVD with audio commentary with pierce and Meryl. SHE KNOWS HOW MUCH WE WANT IT!! and she laughed! hahah watch this space
we also had a group pic with dominic cooper

The BAFTAS used to have a best film public choice award , it’s a shame they didn’t have it this year as Mammamia would have definitely won the public vote, as it happened slum dog millionaire landslided some of the awards that should have gone to other films like best music, the dancing queen arrangement in the move is so amazing it should have won best music and it’s a shame a film that is the best selling DVD ever ended up not winning anything at the BAFTs . Its an incredible film , it doesn’t have a single superfluous sceen or line and every shot is perfectly located.
