OK...I'm going out on a limb here and actually starting a thread... I've liked her voice on the Taboo soundtrack and really enjoyed her in Cats, so I thought I'd give her a thread here. I'm going back to Wicked tomorrow and hopefully will get to see Dianne as Glinda. Found this when I was googling today...ha ha! It may be old...but oh well: www.theatre.com/story/id/3008429

Ha! I have yet to see Dianne in Wicked. I'm hearing that she is a good Glinda. I'm starting to get the Wicked itch..pretty badly..so maybe I'll be going soon.

OK...she was pretty awesome as Glinda. Go see her soon...um, is Thursday too soon? Ha ha...I feel like a freak for going twice in one week...but I had committed to going Thursday a couple of months ago, but took my son on Saturday...hopefully Dianne will be on...again, she was a fabulous Glinda...those Wicked forums are right on...her 'Popular' resembled Megan Hilty's style...HILARIOUS! I'll post a mini-review as soon as I finish the one on Suanne's show...I know I'm very, very late...

Found another interview with Dianne while perusing another forum...can you tell I'm "wickedly distracted" this Friday? www.whatsonstage.com/index.php?pg=207&story=E8821189773522&title=20+Questions+With+%85+Dianne+PilkingtonThe second to last question explains why Iain and I saw so much giggling on stage last week. I also like the question about how scary it is working from a height. Although I saw Cats last year and I think that ascent looked scarier...at least from the perspective on the ground. The husband asked me yesterday if Wicked has knocked MM off its 'top show' pedestal for me. I said "no, you just don't harass me as much when I say I want to see Wicked". When I say MM, he always goes "AGAIN!!" and so far I've been able to use my kids as a good excuse to go back to Wicked. Ha ha...I'm evil...I know! I wanna re-try the day seat queue (hopefully no medical emergencies get in the way this time)...but I want to wait for a Saturday when I know Jazz can go. Right Jazz?!

Sure! ;D It's fun sitting there for a few hours, running to Starbucks and Victoria station to pee! and then ipod swapping to listen to Shoshana or Idina. ;D ;D I think i need to see Dianne's Glinda. I just need to sort my act out ;D I'll watch Taboo, get Lucy and Dianne as a temp fix

I think you guys are the best people to answer this question. What is the best way of getting between the Prince of Wales and the Apollo Victoria? I've booked a room at the hotel right next to the Prince of Wales, and I'm planning on going day ticketing at Wicked. I don't know London all that well, so any advice on the quickest route would be appreciated.

I don't know London all that well, so any advice on the quickest route would be appreciated. The best way is to walk to Piccadilly and take the 38 bus. It goes directly to Victoria, and you can't miss the Apollo and the green from the main bus stop ;D

my fav way between those two is taxi... but then i'm too lazy to find out what bus would have got me there...and cheaper... i made it from Vic Sta. to the PoW in 10 mins...that was the day I was taking my sis to MM and I thought we would miss it...thank that poor taxi driver who got us there on time... ;D ;D ;D

Take a nice leisurely stroll. I didn't watch Taboo in the end

You can still see Lucy though...ha ha... I let someone borrow my copy and I'm not sure where it is anymore...

Let us know how the day seat thing turns out for you. My neighbour wants to go, but I'm going to let her push the issue. (I'm tired of being the one that pushes all my neighbours and friends into going to shows.) The only thing I did tell her was to pick a date now, while it's not as cold (as it could be.) But walking to work this morning, I was thinking that it is already getting a little cool for my tastes. Dress warmly just in case!

I'll let you know, but I'm not going until the end of the year, just before the tourist season starts. I know it's going to be a cold wait, but I'm from Glasgow, so a bit of cold really doesn't bother me! My friend and I are planning the trip now, so I wanted to get all the info about the day tickets before I spoke to her. We're doing the day tickets as it seems the cheapest way of getting seats close to the stage. Last time, we were miles away from the stage (you know how big the Appollo Vic is!), so we want Elphaba to me more than just a dot in the distance this time!

AND it was cold but somehow sitting on the steps of the Apollo you don't even realize how cold it is ;D ;D ;D ;D you might want to check the wicked forums and make sure it's not a day when they decide a group trip though.
