OK...two words...NO LUCY! She was there, of course, but not as Donna. I had to try to find her in the ensemble, which is so hard because she kept getting upstaged by others. Remind me never to do that again. I would rather have twins via c-section again than to have to pick Lucy out of the ensemble again. The show was still enjoyable despite my loss. I was still holding out for a miracle even up to the start of the show...but I would not get my wish. SD afterwards made up for it. I'll write more later, but I am exhausted and still have to go to work tomorrow. I took some good photos after...need to clean them up a bit first before posting. I took a good one of Lucy...and Iain was a real sweety. And to think I almost chickened out. Here is the list of subs tonight if anyone is interested: Tanya - Suanne Braun Sky - Dylan Turner Bill - Graham Vick Father Alexander - Peter Challis Lisa - Sarah Lark Good night...or good morning really!

Kris, I do not know you............. but YOU ROCK!!! Lucy is the best Donna ever.I know what you mean by the others upstaging her in the ensemble, we had that at WEL. That is why we came up with the expression OMG it's Suanne BUT where is Lucy? Why can't she be in the front where she belongs. Well, Kris welcome to TEAM LUCY, we are a great crazy team. Thanks Hugo! Not too many people tell me that I rock, but I sure am glad that you think so. I had this sick, conflicted feeling in my stomach the whole show. I was glad I was there and glad to see the others (and Lucy - what chance I could get), but really bummed that "our Donna" was not on. I knew that I was TEAM LUCY forever as soon as Money, Money, Money started. Now my "friends" that I brought with me think that it is only because I saw her as Donna first, but I squashed those thoughts of theirs by telling them that I had not seen Suanne as Tanya before, but I liked her better. I don't know if they believed me...but I challenged them to a re-match for a Friday matinee and told them they, too, would be converted.

Lucy (yay!) ;D Tasha Joanna Iain
I said something embarassing to Iain and we left right after. I said that if I talked to anyone else I would melt right into a puddle on the ground. That was my first time at the SD and I was acting like a dufus (sp?). I couldn't help it.
By the way, Iain and James ("Harry") were both on bicycles and about to ride away. Iain was nice enough to give me an autograph and let me take a photo (he insisted on taking his helmet off for the photo.) What a sweetie! (James rode away too fast for me to ask him but it's probably a good thing because I was dorking out.)
