From what i can gather it was always intended to go on tour at some point and having done 2 years in London by the time it closes i'm guessing that was the aim. Oh well more visits to WWRY and MM after Jan 3rd. ;D ;D ;D

For fellow lovers of the show you have to get along to see Sanjeev Bhaskar as the new King Arthur, this guy is hilarious i wasn't sure if having an Indian "Arthur" would work but trust me it was an inspired piece of casting. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

;D ;D ;D Still got a big silly ;D on my face after last Saturday ;D We were there at last Saturday's matinee. Sanjeev Baskar is fantastic as King Arthur. Maybe not the strongest singer in the world, but he's just hilarious. It was the first time I'd seen this cast and loved every minute. The Swedish Lady of the Lake (sorry, don't have my programme handy so can't remember her name) is brilliant and all the other characters are perfectly cast even though we had the understudy Lancelot.
Can't wait for this to hit the north on tour.

Couldn't agree more - Sanjeev is great, Nina is fab and the new ensemble are certainly rocking!!! Go and see it - even if you have already - it was like watching a new Spamalot - it's that good at the mo!!
Iain - when I saw it on their second night - Sanjeev was singing fantastically - I was really impressed!

There's an interview with Sanjeev in this week's HELLO (the one with the Brad/Angelina twins on the cover) for anyone that wants to read.

So the final shows are over the last "Grail" found under seat D1 and a rousing "Always Look On the Bright Side of Life" finale sung by the whole theatre. We were treated to two absolutely fantastic shows on Saturday and i am going to miss my dose of total lunacy like crazy.

Keep my fingers crossed Eric Idle hurries up and puts "The Life of Brian" on stage. Hope Spamalot will tour the UK in 2010,meanwhile i'll pay a visit to "Priscilla" and my trips to WWRY and MM.

The show opens in Cologne tonight in the same theatre that WWRY started off in. The London cast is ably represented in Cologne by Stacey Hayden.
