ok use this to talk about movies...old or new...
Today I have to rave about Blood Diamond. I walked out of that movie dragging my jaw, it was really good. And it made me question "where does a diamond come from?". I think i went home and read up on the Kimberly process. Leonardo was great, and that South African accent made he really sexy, but he was impressive as the diamond smuggler. The movie itself had such great depth to it.
If you haven't seen it, it's worth a trip to the cinema...

ooh i finally saw the new Spiderman movie! Brilliant cgi! and the script was really good! i didn't know what to expect from a third movie, it could have been dire! but it was the opposite!! Really good! And i agree with Michaela...the ending was so sad!

pirates was fab just got back from watching it, it's a long one but it really did not seem it was a long movie. interesting as some of the reviews that came out on Friday were not favourable. Personally i thought it was fab, much better than the second one. brilliant cinematography, great score..absolutely loved it, and top top CGI! Oh and fab cast too!! if you haven't seen it, make sure you stay til the VERY END!!
SAVVY!

I saw ocean's 13 today. Theatre therapy yesterday, retail and movie therapy today. Massive improvement on Ocean's 12. The plot was substantially better, and half decent. Al Pacino is a brilliant actor and was perfect for his role in this as the owner of the new casino. Also i'm not going to complain Brad Pitt and George Clooney in the same flick. HELLO!??!

Saw Fantastic Four tonight...I'm still trying to decide how I felt about it...I think I was not in the right frame of mind for a superhero/comic book movie tonight...but the boys wanted to go so we went. I was definitely entertained...but ask me tomorrow; maybe I'll know by then...hmmm...

I want to see Starlight, it looks good.
I saw No Reservations earlier today. I really enjoyed it. It's predictable but it still doesn't take away the fun of watching the movie. I love CZJ anyway, and the kid playing Zoe was a delight to watch. And it was just different after the summer of blockbusters!
