i don't think Suanne actually appeared in an episode of The West Wing, i tried IMDB and google..but could only come up with this article, that she MC'd at an event called citylive in 2000
[People at an event.] Events CityLive 2000 On October 17, 2000 the Weingart Center met the Wild West as CityLive 2000 rolled down the Laramie Street set at Warner Bros. Once home to classic western television shows such as Bonanza and Little House on the Prairie, Laramie Street welcomed over 700 guests there to raise money and awareness towards the plight of the homeless.
Honored that evening were Aaron Sorkin, creator and writer of the Emmy-winning series The West Wing, and Richard Hartnack, Vice Chairman of Union Bank of California.
Aaron Sorkin was honored for an episode of The West Wing named “In Excelsis Deo”. The episode dealt with the plight of a homeless veteran and was recently awarded the Humanitas Prize. He was introduced by Peter Roth, President of Warner Bros. Television, and joined on stage by many of the show’s cast members, including Martin Sheen, Richard Schiff, John Spencer, Timothy Busfield and Dule Hill.
The Weingart Center honored Richard Hartnack for his long-time advocacy on behalf of the homeless and continued service on the WCA Board of Directors. “As someone who has worked for many years in the Downtown Los Angeles community, I have been extremely moved by the difficulty that homeless men and women face in obtaining even the most basic of human necessities.” Mr. Hartnack was introduced by Paul Watson, Vice Chairman of Wells Fargo Bank.
Throughout the evening, people wandered down the set’s streets taking bites out of the large BBQ buffet or bidding on one of the items at the many silent auction tables. Mistress of Ceremonies Suanne Braun kept the evening moving, while country crooned Lila McCann many of her popular tunes.
The event raised a record $321,000 to support Weingart Center programs.

Suanne is AaW! I saw her in Kander and Ebb - Coloured Lights last night. All I'm going to say on it for the moment was it was fab! The song list was good, I fell in love with Spiderwoman all over again, but i was surprised there wasn't a "full number" from Chicago, just a teaser. Oh and Kris leave the skissors at home There's nothing to cut down. Suanne isn't even on the Coloured Lights flyer What's with that?? There is a news article though outside. ;D ;D ;D The 411 on the scene is... it was scary, just two rows of seating. It was more intimate than Jerymn Street. I sat in the last row and it was still close. ;D ;D ;D. No cabaret groupies

Here;s a write up on Suanne from the South African Times: www.sadirectory.co.uk/index.php?option=content&task=view&id=1382&Itemid=73 Actress is a cut above the rest Print E-mail Written by Lameez Abrahams Thursday, 30 August 2007 SA performer Suanne Braun is better remembered as the beautiful red-haired M-Net presenter in the 1990s – but her career has spanned three continents. She has raked in appearances on top television shows in the US, theatre performances in the UK as well as comedy and a few singing stints. Braun lends her talents to her latest stage endeavour Coloured Lights: A Musical Celebration of Kander & Ebb at the Greenwich Playhouse till September 9. John Kander and Fred Ebb, renowned for their song writing brilliance, have written scores for top Hollywood director Martin Scorsese as well as Liza Minnelli and Chita Rivera. “This play will give people a different perspective of the music of Kander and Ebb,” says Braun. “Often cabaret has a negative connotation to it or people expect a hotel singer dressed in a suit and sitting in a lobby singing ‘New York, New York’ badly. But this show gives people the opportunity to see a different side of the music they have written.” The University of Cape Town graduate took on the job after completing a yearlong stint as one of the three main leads in Mamma Mia at the Prince of Wales Theatre. Not only did Braun make history by becoming the first understudy to be cast in the lead role when one of the main leading women left, but she also took a big risk by taking the job as an understudy instead of a lead role. “Some people said I shouldn’t take the understudy part but I told my husband that Shirley Maclaine and Liza Minnelli started as understudies – you just never know what’s going to happen. I ended up being an understudy for four months and then the one lady left and I was given the part for the rest of the year. They haven’t done it in nine years on Mamma Mia so it was great and I loved the show.” After leaving South Africa, Braun was signed by the prestigious William Morris agency in the US and soon her talents were seen onscreen alongside David Spade in the sitcom Just Shoot Me, The West Wing and FX as well as Stargate, in which she played Hathor. “I’ve been really lucky. The longest I’ve been out of work was maybe four months,” Braun enthuses, but adds that reality television is doing more harm that good for aspiring thespians. “TV companies have realised they can make really bad television really cheaply and the more the public want to watch that, the more actors don’t work.” When asked if she will be directing her own play anytime soon, Braun releases an infectious laugh and reveals that she has been writing a one-woman show for a while now and that she “finally plucked up the guts” to do 45 minutes of it to a great reception. On highlights thus far in her career, the list reads like something out of a dream but Braun has achieved all. “I did the pre-Academy Award Show in 1996, which was amazing. I remember seeing Meryl Streep who I’ve always idolized and when I saw her I noticed she had a small pimple on her cheek and this made me realise she is just human. I felt like hugging her! “Working with Oscar-winning director Peter Bogdanovich was also amazing, but a great high and low came when I auditioned for a show where I got to screen test with Johnny Depp and Marlon Brando. It was a bitter blow not getting the part but it was amazing. Mamma Mia was definitely a highlight – a lot of people didn’t even know I could sing. I feel like I’ve had a different career in every country that I’ve lived in.”
