Saw Sarah at Jye's and CJ's cabaret yesterday. She and Tasha really look forward to it! Not sure whether you told them before you are coming, if not, Sarah knows now you will be there! ;D

Is Tasha still with the international cast because that little bit saying Tasha Sheridan playing Sophie in the hit show says the hp books are a must read. So is she still with them if so they need to mention her in the cast list!!!

Well, if she is still with the international tour...I could take a trip ;D

I miss Tasha!! I was looking something up yesterday on the 'theatre monkey' web site...and took a look at their selection of videos. Saw that there were two for MM...so I watched them. Awwwww...one of them was last year's cast and it showed Tasha and made me miss seeing her as Sophie sooooo much. (Nothing wrong with Hannah...just miss seeing Tasha up there.)

I found this, wonder if the "TASHA SHERIDAN" in the article is THE TASHA SHERIDAN??? Review: Me and My Girl at the Amey Hall, Abingdon until Saturday, April 7 From the archive, first published Wednesday 4th Apr 2001. Would you Adam and Eve it . . . there's no doubt that the hottest ticket in town is Me and My Girl performed by the amazing Abingdon Operatic Society - or strike me down brown bread, writes Roy Cooper. A 70-strong cast leaves the audience quite breathless after one of the most colourful and energetic shows you'll ever see. Foot-stomping numbers such as The Lambeth Walk, The Sun Has Got His Hat On and Leaning on a Lamppost are given cracking renditions in this Pygmalion-style, rags-to-riches story. The vibrant music and dazzling dance sequences, combined with some excellent slapstick comedy turns, ensure that the pace never slackens in this production, based on the original 1937 musical, updated by Stephen Fry. Praise is due to all members of the talented cast, but top honours must go to the unforgettable Dave Crewe as the central figure Bill Snibson. Bill is plucked from his humble Cockney roots and plunged into the upper class household of Hareford Hall in Hampshire where he discovers he is the surprise heir - the result of an "unfortunate alliance" involving the former Lord of the Manor. Our Cockney hero, a right Jack the Lad, is at first overwhelmed by his inherited wealth and all its trappings. But he soon discovers that money isn't everything when his love for his faithful girlfriend Sally (Rosie Emanuel, in a touching performance) is stretched to breaking point. Eager to get her hands on Bill's newly-acquired fortune is material girl Lady Jacqueline, played by the alluring Tasha Sheridan as a striking Madonna lookalike, complete with stockings and blonde curls. And although Bill remains true to his roots and does his best to resist the temptations of life with the toffs, poor Sally does not feel welcome and returns to her Lambeth home. Thankfully, with the help of kind Sir John Tremayne (George Green) and the family solicitor Parchester (Dennis Osment), true love conquers all obstacles, and by the finale, everyone is singing their hearts out to the Lambeth Walk - hoi! The dour but ultimately big-hearted Duchess (Wendy A. Lewis), deaf-as-a-post Sir Jasper Tring (Tom Tompsett), the bumbling Hon Gerald Bolingbroke (Rob Bertwistle), and Charles, the Butler (Dennis Garrett), provide splendid support. Director Martyn Knight and musical director Chris Payne ensure that everyone goes home humming the show's tunes and the talented dancers never put a foot wrong. But Dave Crewe as Bill is the focus of attention at all times, as he pulls faces, cracks jokes in Cockney rhyming slang, juggles his bowler hat, resists Lady Jacqueline and entertains us with some wonderful knockabout Norman Wisdom-style comic routines. The brisk scene changes and costume changes are faultless and, all in all, it's a corker of a show which runs until Saturday at Amey Hall, Abingdon. Don't miss it. Bit of info for all Tasha fans,i was chatting to Amy Field at Spamalot on Saturday and we got onto the subject of MM and Amy mentioned that her dresser when she is Lady of the Lake is Tasha Sheridan who used to play Sophie. So if you want to catch up with Tasha head for the Palace Theatre stage door.

I felt a little sorry that they used her as an illustration of begging though, we know Tasha is great and should have at least got through to Nancy school.

Have any of you read these comments on the WhatsonStage Discussion Forum – Tasha needs a bit of our support me thinks!! www.whatsonstage.com/board/index.php?showtopic=3277&st=0I thought Nancy was the best audition we saw. She actually acted the song and made it very emotional. Did anyone else see Tasha Sheridan from Moma Mia arguing with JB? Did not actually recognise Tasha Sheridan but have seen her in Mama Mia. How embarassing to argue with JB. Get a grip girl and move on! I thought that was Tasha from Mama Mia, how embarrassing to argue with JB, she should have stayed with Mama Mia! This next one makes me REALLY angry! www.whatsonstage.com/board/index.php?showtopic=3282&st=0Good to see that Tasha Sheridan didnt get though though.... She gave the worst perfromance Ive ever seen in Mamma Mia..... Come on guys – let’s put them right over our Tasha!!

I say...ignore the WoS idiots. We know how good Tasha is and no matter what anyone says they will have their opinions. It's their loss. We love her and that's what matters!! Looks like someone did try to set the record straight over there (if this bloomin' link will work): www.whatsonstage.com/board/index.php?s=&showtopic=3277&view=findpost&p=28102 I didn't see the show and can't really comment on it. Can't wait to see Tasha on Sunday!!
